Hi guys! Well I had my first appearance today at the Edmond Newcomers Club in Edmond, Oklahoma and talked about my experiences with mental illness. Gail Israel was there to speak about NAMI and she did a fantastic job with providing useful information to these ladies in Edmond. I had a pretty cool experience afterwards too. I went to the restroom to change for class and ran into 2 precious little girls and their eyes lit up. I decided to poke my head into the classroom that they were in to say hi to the boys and girls. Their faces lit up and was absolutely gleaming. That was the most amazing experience I have ever had. Kids always have a special place in my heart and I just pray everyday that I can continue to be a role model for not just little girls because I wear a pretty crown but to everyone. Little boys, girls, teenagers, and adults. I pray for the strength and the courage to continue what I am doing and do it to my best ability.
